Bukhari reported it in the Book of Jihad (3077), and Muslim in the Book of Leadership (1353:85), both from the hadith of Mansur, from Mujahid, from Tawus, from Ibn Abbas, and he related it.Ibn Qudama said, "The matter of jihad is entrusted to the leader and his judgment, and the subjects are obligated to obey him in what he decides regarding that."
