The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered an expedition to set out. They asked, "Messenger of Allah, shall we set out tonight or wait until morning?"He replied, "Would you not love to spend the night like this among the gardens of Paradise?"
أمر رسول الله بسرية أن تخرج، فقالوا: يا رسول الله، أنخرج الليلة أم نمكث حتى نصبح؟ قال: أفلا تحبون أن تبيتوا هكذا في خراف الجنة؟

Narrated by Nasai in Al-Kubra (8783), Hakim (2/74), and Bayhaqi in Shuab (3934), all through chains from Ibn Wahb, from Ibn Lahia and Umar bin Malik, from Ibn Abu Jafar, from Safwan bin Salim, from Sulayman Al-Aghar, from Abu Hurairah, who said, and then he mentioned it.Hakim said, "This is a sahih hadith according to the criterion of Muslim." Its chain is hasan because of Umar bin Malik Al-Shurabi Al-Masri. Abu Hatim said, "There is no harm in him," and Abu Zura said, "His hadith is acceptable." Ibn Lahia corroborated him, and though there is well-known discussion about him, the narration of Abdullah bin Wahb from him is good, and this is one of his narrations.His saying "Al-Kharraf" means the garden.
