Abu Dharr reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "There are three whom Allah عز وجل loves.A man who came to a people and asked them for help in the name of Allah, not by virtue of any kinship between himself and them, but they refused him. Then one man hung back behind them and gave to him in secret, so that no one knew of his gift except Allah عز وجل and the one who gave it.And a people who travelled through the night until, when sleep had become dearer to them than anything they could be offered for it, they dismounted and laid down their heads, but one of them rose to entreat Me lovingly and recite My verses. And a man who was in a military expedition who met the enemy, and his companions were routed, but he advanced with his chest forward until he was killed or victory was granted to him."
