A slave of hers who had a contract for emancipation came to her with the remainder of his payment. She said to him, "You will not enter upon me again after this visit, so devote yourself to jihad in the cause of Allah, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'No dust from the path of Allah ever touches the heart of a Muslim man without Allah forbidding the Fire for him.'"
أن مكاتبا لها دخل عليها ببقية مكاتبته، فقالت له: أنت غير داخل علي غير مرتك هذه، فعليك بالجهاد في سبيل الله، فإني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: ما خالط قلب امرئ مسلم رهج في سبيل الله إلا حرم الله عليه النار.
Ahmad narrated it (24548) from Abu Yaman, who said, Ismail bin Ayyash told us, from Uzai, from Abdul-Rahman bin Qasim, from his father, from Ayesha, and he mentioned it.This isnad is hasan, for Ismail bin Ayyash is truthful in his narration from the people of Syria, and this is one of those. It has other paths of transmission, and what I have mentioned is the most sahih of them.Haythami said in al-Majmu (5/275), "Ahmad and Tabarani in al-Awsat narrated it, and the men of Ahmad's chain are trustworthy."
