The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah has guaranteed for the one who goes out to strive in His path, with nothing driving him from his home but striving in His path and belief in His words, that He will either admit him into Paradise or return him to the home from which he set out, along with whatever reward or spoils of war he has gained."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: تكفل الله لمن جاهد في سبيله، لا يخرجه من بيته إلا الجهاد في سبيله، وتصديق كلماته، أن يدخله الجنة، أو يرده إلى مسكنه الذي خرج منه مع ما نال من أجر أو غنيمة.
Malik narrated it in jihad (2) from Abu Zinad, from Araj, from Abu Hurairah, who said, and then he mentioned it. Bukhari narrated it in the chapter on the obligation of the khumus (3123) through the route of Malik with the same wording. Muslim narrated it in leadership (104:1876) through another route from Abu Zinad with the same wording.
