The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah, whoever believes in You and bears witness that I am Your messenger, make him love to meet You, ease Your decree upon him, and grant him little of this world. And whoever does not believe in You and does not bear witness that I am Your messenger, do not make him love to meet You, do not ease Your decree upon him, and grant him much of this world."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: اللهم من آمن بك، وشهد أني رسولك فحبب إليه لقاءك، وسهل عليه قضاءك، وأقلل له من الدنيا. ومن لم يؤمن بك، ولم يشهد أني رسولك، فلا تحبب إليه لقاءك، ولا تسهل عليه قضاءك، وأكثر له من الدنيا.
Tabarani related it in Al-Kabir (18/313) via Ibn Wahb, from Saeed bin Abu Ayub, from Abu Hani, from Amr bin Malik, from Fadala bin Ubayd, and he mentioned it. Its isnad is sahih, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (208), relating it by this same route. Haythami mentioned it in Al-Majmu (10/286) and said, "Tabarani related it, and its narrators are trustworthy."
