The Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned to two horned, white rams and slaughtered them with his own hand.
أن رسول الله ﷺ انكفا إلى كبشين ﷺ أقرنين أملحين، فذبحهما بيده.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Sacrifices (5554) from Qutayba bin Saeed, who said, we were told by Ayub, from Abu Qilaba, from Anas, and he related it.Muslim narrated it in the Book of Sacrifices (17:1966) via Qatada, from Anas, similarly, adding, "He mentioned Allah's name, said the takbir, and placed his foot on their sides."Regarding his saying "amlahayn," it has been said that al-amlah is that whose white exceeds its black, and it has also been said that it means pure white.
