The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever deliberately swears a binding false oath, let him take his place in the Fire."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: من حلف على يمين كاذبة مصبورة متعمدا، فليتبوأ بوجهه مقعده من النار.
Reported by Abu Dawud (3242), Ahmad (19912), and Hakim (4/294), all from the hadith of Yazid bin Harun, who said, we were informed by Hisham bin Hassan Qurdusi, from Muhammad bin Sirin, from Imran bin Husayn, who narrated it. Its chain is sahih. Hakim said, "Sahih according to the criterion of the two Shaykhs."As for his saying "masburah" (binding), it means that the ruling based on it becomes binding in his favor, meaning if he swears, even falsely, the ruling is made in his favor.
