A woman from the tribe of Makhzum stole something, and she was brought before the Prophet ﷺ. She sought refuge with Umm Salama, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ.The Prophet ﷺ said, "By Allah, even if it were Fatimah, I would cut off her hand."So her hand was cut off.
أن امرأة من بني مخزوم سرقت، فأتي بها النبي ﷺ فعاذت بأم سلمة زوج النبي ﷺ. فقال النبي ﷺ: والله لو كانت فاطمة لقطعت يدها فقطعت.
