Abu Qasim ﷺ said, "If a man peeps at you without permission and you throw a pebble at him that puts out his eye, you bear no blame."
قال أبو القاسم ﷺ: لو أن امرءا اطلع عليك بغير إذن فحذفته بحصاة ففقأت عينه لم يكن عليك جناح.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Diyat (6902) and Muslim in the Book of Manners (44:2158) through Abu Zinad, from Araj, from Abu Hurairah. Muslim also narrated it in the Book of Manners (44:2158) through Suhayl, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, with the wording, "Whoever peers into the house of a people without their permission, it becomes lawful for them to gouge out his eye."
