The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah has forbidden you to disobey your mothers, to bury daughters alive, to withhold what you owe, and to demand what is not yours. And He dislikes for you idle gossip, excessive questioning, and the wasting of wealth."
قال النبي ﷺ: إن الله حرم عليكم: عقوق الأمهات، ووأد البنات، ومنع وهات. وكره لكم: قيل وقال، وكثرة السؤال، وإضاعة المال.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Disputes (2408), and Muslim in the Book of Judgments (12:593), both through Jareer, from Mansur, from Shaybi, from Warrad the freed slave of Mughira bin Shuba, from Mughira bin Shuba, and he mentioned it.His saying, "burying daughters alive," means burying them while they were still living, so that they would die under the earth.
