The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The curse of Allah is upon the one who gives a bribe and the one who takes it."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: لعنة الله على الراشي والمرتشي.

Reported by Abu Dawud (3850), Tirmidhi (1337), Ibn Majah (2313), Ahmad (6532), and Ibn Jarud (586), and Ibn Hibban (5077), Hakim (4/102-103), and Bayhaqi (10/138-139) graded it sahih. All of them narrated it from the hadith of Ibn Abu Dhib, from his maternal uncle Harith bin Abdul-Rahman, from Abu Salama, from Abdullah bin Amr, who mentioned it.Tirmidhi said, "Hasan sahih." Hakim said, sahih in isnad.I say, its isnad is hasan because of Harith bin Abdul-Rahman, for he is hasan al-hadith.
