The Messenger of Allah ﷺ withdrew from his wives for a month. He came out to us on the twenty-ninth day, so we said, "Today is only the twenty-ninth."He replied, "The month is this," and he clapped his hands together three times, holding back one finger on the last clap.
كان رسول الله ﷺ اعتزل نساءه شهرا. فخرج إلينا في تسع وعشرين فقلنا: إنما اليوم تسع وعشرون فقال: إنما الشهر وصفق بيديه ثلاث مرات، وحبس إصبعا واحدة في الآخرة.
