أن عبد الرحمن بن عوف تزوج امرأة على وزن نواة، فرأى النبي ﷺ بشاشة العرس، فسأله، فقال: إني تزوجت امرأة على وزن نواة.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Marriage (5148), and Muslim in the Book of Marriage (82:1427), both through the route of Shubah, who said, Abdul-Aziz bin Suhayb narrated to us, saying, "I heard Anas say," and then he mentioned it.Bukhari added, through another route, from Qatada, from Anas, that Abdul-Rahman bin Awf married a woman for a nawah's weight of gold. A nawah is worth five dirhams. In another version, Anas said, "I saw him distribute a hundred thousand to each of his wives after his death."
