Ayesha reported,
A man divorced his wife with the three pronouncements of divorce. Another man then married her but divorced her before consummating the marriage, and her first husband wished to remarry her. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about this and said, "No, not until the second husband tastes of her sweetness as the first one tasted."

طلق رجل امرأته ثلاثا. فتزوجها رجل ثم طلقها قبل أن يدخل بها، فأراد زوجها الأول أن يتزوجها. فسئل رسول الله ﷺ عن ذلك؟ فقال: لا، حتى يذوق الآخر من عسيلتها ما ذاق الأول.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Divorce (5261), and Muslim in the Book of Marriage (115:1433), both through Ubaydullah bin Umar, who said, Qasim bin Muhammad narrated to me, from Ayesha, and he mentioned it. The wording given is that of Muslim.Note, Malik narrated it in the Book of Marriage (18) from Yahya bin Saeed, from Qasim bin Muhammad, from Ayesha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, that she was asked about a man who divorced his wife with an irrevocable divorce, and another man then married her and divorced her before consummating the marriage, whether it would be permissible for the first husband to marry her again. Ayesha said, "No, not until he tastes her honey."This is how Malik narrated it, as a statement stopped at Ayesha herself rather than attributed to the Prophet. There is no contradiction between the two narrations, for Ayesha 
used to narrate it as a hadith, and when asked, she would give it as her own legal opinion.
