The Prophet ﷺ said, "On the night I was taken on the night journey, I saw Musa, a tall, dark-skinned man with curly hair, as though he were one of the men of Shanuah. I saw Isa, a man of medium height and build, with a complexion between red and white, and straight hair. I also saw Malik, the keeper of the Fire, and Dajjal, among the signs that Allah showed me. So do not be in any doubt about meeting him."
Bukhari narrated it in the beginning of creation (3239), and Muslim in faith (165), both from the hadith of Shuba, from Qatada, from Abu Aliyah, who said, "The cousin of your Prophet told me," meaning Ibn Abbas, and then he related the hadith. The wording given is Bukhari's, while Muslim's wording is abridged. However, Muslim also narrated it through the route of Shayban bin Abdul-Rahman, from Qatada, similarly to Shuba.
