Ali bin Abu Talib said to Ibn Abbas, "You are a confused man. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the temporary marriage of women."
عن علي بن ابي طالب يقول لابن عباس: انك رجل تائه، ان رسول الله ﷺ نهى عن متعة النساء.
Tahawi reported it in his Sharh (3/24) through the route of Juwayriyah, from Malik, from Zuhri, that Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ali bin Abu Talib and Hasan bin Muhammad bin Ali told him that their father told them that he heard Ali bin Abu Talib say that, and he mentioned it.
