The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Beware of entering upon women."A man from the Ansar asked, "Messenger of Allah, what about the in-law?"He replied, "The in-law is death."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: إياكم والدخول على النساء. فقال رجل من الأنصار يا رسول الله، أفرأيت الحمو؟ قال: الحمو الموت
Bukhari narrated it in the chapter on marriage (5232), and Muslim narrated it in the chapter on greetings (2172), both of them from Qutayba bin Saeed, who said, Layth narrated to us, from Yazid bin Abu Habib, from Abu Khayr, from Uqba bin Amir, who said, and then he mentioned it.
