A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "I have a slave girl who is our servant and the one who draws water for us. I have intercourse with her, but I do not want her to become pregnant."He replied, "Practice withdrawal from her if you wish, but whatever has been decreed for her will still come to her."The man stayed away for a time, then returned and said, "The slave girl has become pregnant."He said, "I already told you that whatever has been decreed for her would come to her."
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Marriage (1439), from Ahmad bin Abdullah bin Yunus, who said, Zuhayr narrated to us, who said, Abu Zubayr informed us, from Jabir bin Abdullah, and he related it.In another version, "That will never prevent anything Allah has willed." He said, The man came and said, "Messenger of Allah, the young woman I had mentioned to you has become pregnant." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I am the servant of Allah and His messenger."
