The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Is there a man among you who, when he goes to his wife, closes the door and lowers the curtain, then goes out and talks about it, saying, 'I did such-and-such with my wife, and I did such-and-such with my wife'?"The people remained silent.Then he turned to the women and asked, "Is there any among you who talks about such things?"A young girl rose up on one of her knees and stretched herself tall so that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ could see her and hear her words, and she said, "Yes, by Allah, the men do talk, and the women do talk."He said, "Do you know what the one who does that is like? The one who does that is like a male devil and a female devil who meet each other in the street and he satisfies his desire with her while the people look on."
في حديث طويل كما ذكر، وجاء فيه:
قال رسول الله ﷺ هل فيكم رجل إذا أتى أهله أغلق بابه، وأرخي ستره، ثم يخرج فيحدث فيقول: فعلت بأهلي كذا، وفعلت بأهلي كذا فسكتوا، فأقبل على النساء فقال: هل منكن تحدث، فجثت فتاة كعاب على إحدى ركبتيها، وتطالت الرسول الله ﷺ ليراها ويسمع كلامها، فقالت: إي والله إنهم ليتحدثون، وإنهن ليحدثن، قال: فهل تدرون ما مثل من فعل ذلك؟ إن مثل ذلك، مثل شيطان وشيطانة لقى أحدهما صاحبه بالسكة، فقضى حاجته منها والناس ينظرون إليه.
Ahmad (10977), Abu Dawud (2174), Tirmidhi (2787), Nasai (11851/1175) and Ibn Sunni (615) all narrated it through the hadith of Saeed Jariri, from Abu Nadra, from Tufawi, from Abu Hurairah, who related it. Its chain contains Tufawi. Tirmidhi said, "This is a hasan hadith, except that we do not know Tufawi except through this hadith, and we do not know his name," meaning "he is not known," as Ibn Hajar stated.However, Kharaiti narrated it in Masawi al-Akhlaq (430) with his own chain, saying, Ahmad bin Malaib Baghdadi told us, Uthman bin Haytham the muezzin told us, Awf Arabi told us, from Muhammad bin Sirin, from Abu Hurairah, in a similar wording. Its narrators are trustworthy, except that Uthman bin Haytham the muezzin is among the teachers of Bukhari, who narrated from him in his Sahih. Abu Hatim said, "He was truthful, but toward the end of his life he would be prompted with what he was told." Daraqutni said, "Truthful, but made many errors." I say, he did not err in this hadith, since there exists another route that strengthens it.It has also been narrated with a similar meaning from Asma bint Yazid, that she was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while the men and women were sitting around him, and he said, "Perhaps a man speaks of what he does with his wife, and perhaps a woman tells what she did with her husband." The people fell silent, so I said, "Yes, by Allah, O Messenger of Allah, the women do speak of it, and the men do it." He said, "Then do not do so, for the likeness of that is the likeness of a devil who met a she-devil on a road and had intercourse with her while people were watching."Ahmad (27583) and Tabarani in Al-Kabir (24/162) both narrated it through the route of Hafs Sarraj, who said, I heard Shahr saying, Asma bint Yazid narrated it to me, and he related it. In it is Shahr, who is Ibn Hawshab, about whom there is well-known discussion, and he is acceptable as a supporting witness. But the narrator from him, Hafs Sarraj, who is Ibn Abu Hafs Sarraj, Dhahabi said of him, "He is not strong," and Daraqutni said, "Unknown." He is among the men listed in Al-Tajil.
