Asma bint Abu Bakr reported,

Zubayr married me when he had no wealth on earth, no slaves, and nothing at all except a water-carrying camel and his horse. I used to feed his horse, draw water, stitch his leather bucket, and knead dough, though I was not skilled at baking bread. Some neighbors of mine from the Ansar would bake for me, and they were truthful women.I used to carry the date pits on my head from the land that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had granted to Zubayr, which was two-thirds of a parasang from my home. One day I came along with the date pits on my head and met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a group of the Ansar. He called me over, then said, "Ikh, ikh," intending to make his camel kneel so I could ride behind him. But I felt shy to travel with the men, and I remembered Zubayr and his jealousy, for he was the most jealous of people. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ realized that I felt shy, so he moved on.I came to Zubayr and said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ met me while the date pits were on my head, and a group of his companions were with him. He made his camel kneel so I could ride, but I felt shy before him, knowing your jealousy."He replied, "By Allah, the thought of you carrying date pits on your head is harder on me than your riding with him."She said, "Later on, Abu Bakr sent me a servant who took over the care of the horse for me, and it was as if he had set me free."

Sahih
