Numan bin Qawqal came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked, "Messenger of Allah, tell me, if I pray the obligatory prayers, treat as forbidden what is forbidden, and treat as lawful what is lawful, will I enter Paradise?"The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Yes."In another narration, he asked, "If I pray the obligatory prayers, fast Ramadan, treat as lawful what is lawful, and treat as forbidden what is forbidden, and add nothing beyond that, will I enter Paradise?"He answered, "Yes."Numan said, "By Allah, I will add nothing more to that."
أتى النبي ﷺ له النعمان بن قوقل، فقال: يا رسول الله، أرأيت إذا صليت المكتوبة، وحرمت الحرام، وأحللت الحلال، أأدخل الجنة؟ فقال النبي ﷺ: نعم. وفي رواية: صليت الصلوات المكتوبات، وصمت رمضان، وأحللت الحلال، وحرمت الحرام، ولم أزد على ذلك، أأدخل الجنة؟ قال: نعم قال: والله لا أزيد على ذلك شيئا.
