The Prophet ﷺ said, "If I were invited to a meal of a foreleg or a trotter, I would accept, and if a foreleg or a trotter were given to me as a gift, I would receive it."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: لو دعيت إلى ذراع أو كراع لأجبت، ولو أهدي إلي ذراع أو كراع لقبلت.
Bukhari related it in the Book of Gifts (2568), from Muhammad bin Bashshar, who said, Ibn Abu Adi told us, from Shubah, from Sulayman, from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurairah, and he narrated it.His saying "kuraa" refers, in the case of a human, to the part below the knee down to the ankle, and in the case of cattle and sheep, to the slender part of the leg that is bare of flesh, which is known today as the "maqadim."
