The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the believers are saved from the Fire, they will be detained at a bridge between Paradise and Hell, where they will settle the wrongs that occurred between them in the world. Once they have been cleansed and purified, they will be granted permission to enter Paradise. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad ﷺ, each of them will know his dwelling in Paradise better than he knew his home in the world."
عن رسول الله ﷺ قال: إذا خلص المؤمنون من النار حبسوا بقنطرة بين الجنة والنار، فيتقاضون مظالم كانت بينهم في الدنيا، حتى إذا نقوا وهذبوا أذن لهم بدخول الجنة، فوالذي نفس محمد ﷺ بيده لأحدهم بمسكنه في الجنة أدل بمنزله كان في الدنيا.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Wrongdoings (2440), from Ishaq bin Ibrahim, Muaz bin Hisham informed us, my father narrated to me, from Qatada, from Abu Mutawakkil Naji, from Abu Saeed Khudri, and he mentioned it.
