The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade selling spoils of war before they are divided, having intercourse with pregnant captives until they deliver what is in their wombs, and eating the flesh of every predatory animal with fangs.
نهي رسول الله ﷺ عن بيع المغانم حتى تقسم، وعن الحبالى أن يوطأن حتى يضعن ما في بطونهن، ولحم كل ذي ناب من السباع.
Nasai (4645) narrated it from Ahmad bin Hafs bin Abdullah, who said, my father narrated to me, who said, Ibrahim narrated to me, from Yahya bin Saeed, from Amr bin Shuayb, from Abdullah bin Abu Najeeh, from Mujahid, from Ibn Abbas, and he related it.It was also narrated by this same route by Daraqutni (3/68–69) and Hakim (1372). Hakim said, "A sahih hadith," though its isnad is hasan due to the discussion surrounding Amr bin Shuayb. The hadith has other routes recorded by Abu Yaala (2414), Daraqutni, Hakim, and Bayhaqi (9/125). This is why Hakim said, "Part of this text has also been narrated with a sahih isnad meeting the standard of the two Shaykhs."
