Talq had a slave who was a cupper named Nafi Abu Tayba. Talq went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to ask him about the slave's earnings. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not take it."Talq repeated the question to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he replied, "Use it to feed your water-carrying camel, and put it in its belly."
