Ata bin Yasar reported,

I met Abdullah bin Amr bin As رضي الله عنهم and said, "Tell me about the description of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the Torah."He replied, "Certainly. By Allah, he is described in the Torah with some of the same qualities by which he is described in the Quran, 'Prophet, We have sent you as a witness, a bearer of good news, and a warner' [Ahzab 33:45], and as a protection for the unlettered. You are My servant and My Messenger. I have named you the One Who Relies on Allah. He is neither harsh nor coarse, nor does he raise his voice in the marketplaces. He does not repay evil with evil, but rather pardons and forgives. Allah will not take him until, through him, He has set straight the crooked community, so that they say there is no god but Allah, and until through him He opens blind eyes, deaf ears, and sealed hearts."
