The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "What is lawful is clear, and what is unlawful is clear, and between them are doubtful matters. Whoever falls into them is likely to sin, and whoever avoids them preserves his religion more fully. He is like one who grazes his flock beside a protected sanctuary, on the verge of entering it. Every king has a sanctuary, and the sanctuary of Allah is what He has forbidden."

Tabarani narrated it in Al-Kabir (10/404), and Ibn Asakir in Tarikh Dimashq (1/7), both through routes from Walid bin Shuja bin Walid, who said, my father told me, Sabiq Jazari told us, that Amr bin Abu Amr, the freed slave of Muttalib, reported from Abdul-Rahman bin Harith, from Ibn Abbas, and he mentioned it.Its isnad is hasan because of Sabiq Jazari, who is Ibn Abdullah Raqqi. Ibn Hibban mentioned him in Thiqat and said, Uzai and the people of Jazira narrated from him. Ibn Asakir said of him, he was the imam of the masjid of Raqqah and the judge of its people. So the man was well known and recognized, and the hadith of such a person is graded hasan, and the hadith has a firm basis.See what can be derived from the hadith in Minna Kubra (5/11–12).
