She narrated the story of her marriage to Usama bin Zayd, and the story of the Jassasa and the Dajjal. She mentioned the Dajjal's words, traced back to the Prophet ﷺ, "I am the Masih. I am about to be permitted to come out, so I will go forth and travel through the earth. I will not leave any town without descending upon it within forty nights, except Makkah and Tayba, for both of these are forbidden to me. Whenever I try to enter either one of them, an angel meets me with a drawn sword in his hand, turning me away from it. Upon every mountain pass leading to them are angels guarding them."
قالت (فذكرت قصة زواجها من أسامة بن زيد، وقصة الجساسة والدجال، وذكرت قول الدجال- مرفوعا إلى النبي ﷺ-: إني أنا المسيح، وإني أوشك أن يؤذن لي في الخروج، فأخرج فأسير في الأرض فلا أدع قرية إلا هبطتها في أربعين ليلة غير مكة وطيبة فهما محرمتان علي كلتاهما. كلما أردت أن أدخل واحدة أو واحدة منهما استقبلني ملك بيده السيف صلنا يصدني عنها، وإن على كل نقب منها ملائكة يحرسونها.)
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Tribulations (2942) via Husayn bin Zakwan, who said, Ibn Burayda told us, Amir bin Sharahil Shaybi told me that he asked Fatimah bint Qays, who was one of the earliest emigrants, and said, "Tell me a hadith you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and do not attribute it to anyone other than him." She said, "If you wish, I will do so." He said to her, "Yes, tell me..." Then she related the story of Dajjal in a long hadith that will come in its place.
