Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

A man was holding onto his debtor over ten dinars, saying, "By Allah, I will not leave you until you pay me or bring me a guarantor."So the Prophet ﷺ stood as guarantor for him. The debtor later came to the Prophet ﷺ with the amount he had promised. The Prophet ﷺ asked him, "Where did you get this gold from?"He replied, "From a mine."The Prophet ﷺ said, "We have no need for it, there is no good in it."Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ paid the debt on his behalf.
