The Prophet ﷺ said, "The trustworthy treasurer who delivers what he is commanded to give with a willing heart is one of the two givers of charity."
قال النبي ﷺ: الخازن الأمين الذي يؤدي ما أمر به طيبة نفسه أحد المتصدقين.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Hiring (2260), and Muslim in the Book of Zakat (1023), through the route of Buraid Abu Burda, who said, Abu Burda informed me, from his father Abu Musa Ashari, who said... and he mentioned it.Note: Kirmani said, the inclusion of this hadith in the chapter on hiring points to the fact that the custodian of someone else's wealth is like a hired worker for the owner of that wealth.
