The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Faith wears out in the heart of one of you just as a garment wears out, so ask Allah to renew the faith in your hearts."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إن الإيمان ليخلق في جوف أحدكم كما يخلق الثوب الخلق، فاسألوا الله أن يجدد الإيمان في قلوبكم.

Hakim narrated it (4/1) from Abu Jafar Muhammad bin Salih bin Hani, who said, Muhammad bin Ismail bin Mihran told us, Abu Zahir told us, Ibn Wahb informed us, Abdul-Rahman bin Maysara informed me, from Abu Hani Khawlani Humayd bin Hani, from Abu Abdul-Rahman Hubli, from Abdullah bin Amr bin As, who said, then he mentioned it.Hakim said, "This is a hadith that was not included in the Sahihayn, and its narrators are trustworthy Egyptians." Its chain is hasan because of Abdul-Rahman bin Maysara Hadrami Misri, from whom a group of narrators reported. Ibn Hajar said, Abu Umar Kindi said, "He was a jurist of great integrity... and one of the trustworthy people, and he was the first in Egypt to teach recitation according to the reading of Nafi." He mentioned him in Tahdhib for the purpose of distinguishing him (6/284), and in his transmission there is some omission.Haythami said in Majmu (1/52), "Tabarani narrated it in Kabir, and its chain is hasan."I say, this hadith is not found in the printed portion of the Musnad of Abdullah bin Amr bin As, so it appears to be in the lost portion.
