Tariq bin Shihab reported,

We were sitting with Abdullah when his caller came and announced, "The prayer has begun." So he stood up and we stood with him, and we entered the mosque. He saw the people already bowing in the front of the mosque, so he said the takbir and bowed, and we walked forward and did as he did. A man passed by hurrying and said, "Peace be upon you, Abu Abd al-Rahman."Abdullah replied, "Allah has spoken the truth, and His Messenger has conveyed it."When we had finished the prayer, he returned home and went in to his family, while we sat where we were waiting for him to come out. We said to one another, "Which of you will ask him?"Tariq said, "I will ask him."So he asked him, and Abdullah reported from the Prophet ﷺ that he said, "Among the signs before the Hour are greetings given only to those one knows, the spread of trade until a woman assists her husband in business, the severing of family ties, the spread of writing, the appearance of false testimony, and the concealment of true testimony."
