Miqdam bin Mad Yakrib reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No man earns anything more wholesome than what he earns with his own hands. Whatever a man spends on himself, his family, his children, and his servant counts as charity."

Hasanعن المقدام بن معد يكرب الزبيدي
عن رسول الله ﷺ قال: ما كسب الرجل كسبا أطيب من عمل يده. وما أنفق الرجل على نفسه، وأهله وولده، وخادمه فهو صدقة.
Ibn Majah (2138) narrated it from Hisham bin Ammar, who said, Ismail bin Ayyash narrated to us, from Buhayr bin Saad, from Khalid bin Madan, from Miqdam bin Mad Yakrib, and he mentioned it. Ahmad (17190) also narrated it through another route from Ismail bin Ayyash, from Buhayr bin Saad with his chain, with the wording, "None of you ever eats food in this world better for him than eating from the work of his own hands." Its chain is hasan, on account of the discussion regarding Ismail bin Ayyash, for he is truthful in his narration from the people of his own region, the Levantines, and this narration is one of those, since Buhayr bin Saad was from Hims.Baqiya bin Walid corroborated him, saying, Buhayr bin Saad narrated to us, Khalid bin Madan narrated to us, from Miqdam bin Maadi Kareeb, and he mentioned it, with the wording, "None of you ever eats food more beloved to Allah 
than the work of his own hands." Ahmad (17181) narrated it from Ibrahim bin Abu Abbas, who said, Baqiya narrated to us with his chain. Baqiya is a mudallis, but here he stated his source explicitly, and moreover he has been corroborated.
