When Abdul-Rahman bin Awf arrived in Medina, the Prophet ﷺ established a bond of brotherhood between him and Saad bin Rabi al-Ansari. Saad was a man of wealth, so he said to Abdul-Rahman, "I will divide my property with you in half, and I will arrange a marriage for you."Abdul-Rahman replied, "May Allah bless you in your family and your wealth. Just show me the way to the marketplace." The hadith continues.
قدم عبد الرحمن بن عوف المدينة، فأخى النبي ﷺ بينه وبين سعد بن الربيع الأنصاري، وكان سعد ذا غنى، فقال لعبد الرحمن: أقاسمك مالي نصفين وأزوجك، قال: بارك الله لك في أهلك ومالك، دلوني على السوق… الحديث.
