The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "An Amra during Ramadan is equivalent to a Hajj."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: عمرة في رمضان تعدل حجة.
Ibn Majah (2991) narrated it through several chains, from Waki, who said, Sufyan narrated to us, from Bayan and Jabir, from Shaybi, from Wahb bin Khanbash, and he mentioned it.Through this same route, Imam Ahmad (17661) also narrated it, as did his son Abdullah in his additions to the Musnad (17601), from his father and Yahya bin Main, who both said, Waki narrated to us, and he mentioned it. Its chain is sahih, not through the route of Jabir, who is Ibn Yazid Jufi, but through the route of Bayan, who is Ibn Bishr Ahmasi, one of the narrators found in the collections of the six books. It has also been narrated from Haram bin Khanbash with similar wording. Ibn Majah (2992) narrated it, but its chain contains Dawud bin Yazid Zaafari, who is daif by the agreement of the scholars.
