Abdullah bin Umar reported,

He used to throw seven pebbles at the first Jamrah, saying takbir after each pebble. Then he would move forward until he reached level ground, where he would stand facing the qiblah. He would stand there for a long time, supplicating with his hands raised. Then he would throw pebbles at the middle Jamrah, after which he would move to the left, reach level ground, and stand facing the qiblah. He would stand there for a long time, supplicating with his hands raised, standing at length. Then he would throw pebbles at Jamrat al-Aqaba from the bottom of the valley, without pausing there afterward. Then he would depart and say, "This is how I saw the Prophet ﷺ do it."

Sahih
