Abdullah bin Zayd reported,

His father told him that he was present with the Prophet ﷺ at the place of sacrifice along with a man from Quraysh, while the Prophet was distributing the sacrificial animals. Neither he nor his companion received any share of them. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ shaved his head into a cloth and gave it to him, and he distributed it among Some men. He also clipped his nails and gave them to his companion. He said, "It is still with us, dyed with henna and katam," meaning his hair.
