When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ shaved his head, Abu Talha was the first to take some of his hair.
أن رسول الله ﷺ لما حلق رأسه كان أبو طلحة أول من أخذ من شعره.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Wudu (171) from Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahim, who said, Saeed bin Sulayman told us, who said, Abbad narrated to us, from Ibn Awn, from Ibn Sirin, from Anas, and he mentioned it.Muslim narrated it in the Book of Hajj (1305) through several routes from Hisham bin Hassan, from Muhammad bin Sirin, from Anas, with different wordings, as will follow.
