I saw the Prophet ﷺ throwing the pebbles at the Jamarat while mounted on a she-camel.In another narration, he was on his reddish-white she-camel, and there was no striking, no driving people away, and no shouting of "Move aside, move aside."
رأيت النبي ﷺ يرمي الجماعة على ناقة. وفي رواية: على ناقة له صهباء ليس ضرب ولا طرد، ولا إليك إليك.
Tirmidhi (903), Nasai (3061), and Ibn Majah (3035) all narrated it from the hadith of Ayman bin Nabil, from Qudama bin Abdullah, as mentioned.Tirmidhi said, "This hadith is hasan sahih, and this hadith is only known through this route, being the hadith of Ayman bin Nabil, who is reliable according to the people of hadith."I say, Imam Ahmad also narrated the hadith (15410) through this route, and its chain is hasan due to the disagreement over Ayman bin Nabil, though he is one whose hadith is hasan.
