I prayed behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at Mina, two rakahs, at a time when the people were at their most secure and most numerous.
صليت مع رسول الله ﷺ بمنى آمن ما كان الناس وأكثره ركعتين.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Shortening the Prayer (1083), and Muslim in the Book of the Traveler's Prayer (696), both of them through two routes from Abu Ishaq, who said, in the narration of one of the two, "I heard Haritha bin Wahb," and he related it. Muslim said, Haritha bin Wahb Khuzai is the maternal brother of Ubaydullah bin Umar bin Khattab.
