The Prophet ﷺ said, "On Friday, angels stand at every door of the mosque recording those who arrive, in the order they come. When the imam sits down, they roll up their scrolls and come to listen to the remembrance."
قال النبي ﷺ: إذا كان يوم الجمعة كان على كل باب من أبواب المسجد الملائكة يكتبون الأول فالأول، فإذا جلس الإمام طووا الصحف، وجاءوا يستمعون الذكر.
Bukhari narrated it in "The Beginning of Creation" (3211), and Muslim narrated it in "Friday" (850:24), both through Ibn Shihab, from Abu Salama and Aghar, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.
