Aishah reported that she heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The angels descend into the clouds and speak of matters that have been decreed in heaven. The devils eavesdrop and overhear what is said, then convey it to the soothsayers, who add to it a hundred lies of their own making."
أنها سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: إن الملائكة تنزل في العنان- وهو السحاب- فتذكر الأمر قضي في السماء، فتسترق الشياطين السمع، فتسمعه فتوحيه إلى الكهان فيكذبون منها مائة كذبة من عند أنفسهم.
Bukhari narrated it in "The Beginning of Creation" (3210), Muhammad told us, Ibn Abu Maryam told us, Layth informed us, Ibn Abu Jafar told us, from Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman, from Urwa bin Zubayr, from Ayesha, and he related it.Regarding his statement "Muhammad told us," Ibn Hajar concluded that Muhammad here is Bukhari himself.
