The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not perform tawaf around anything except that it was part of the House.

Abu Yaala (2566) narrated it from Zuhayr, who said, Bishr bin Sari told us, Sayf bin Sulayman told us, from Abdullah bin Yasar, from Ibn Abbas, and he related it. Its chain of transmission is sahih, and Haythami graded it hasan in Majma (3/247).
