The Prophet ﷺ said, "When a menstruating woman or a woman in postnatal bleeding reaches the appointed station for entering ihram, they should perform the ritual bath, enter ihram, and complete all the rites of pilgrimage except for circumambulating the House."Abu Muamar added in his narration, "until she becomes pure."Ibn Isa did not mention Ikrima and Mujahid, but rather narrated it from Ata from Ibn Abbas. Ibn Isa also did not say "all of them," but said, "the rites of pilgrimage except for circumambulating the House."
Abu Dawud (1744) and Tirmidhi (945) both narrated it through Marwan bin Shuja Jazari, from Khaseef, from Ikrima, Mujahid, and Ata, from Ibn Abbas, and he mentioned it.Tirmidhi said, this is a hasan gharib hadith from this angle.I say, it is as he said, for Khaseef is Ibn Abdul-Rahman Jazari, about whom there is disagreement, though his hadith is hasan. He has been criticized for poor memory, but he stayed close to Mujahid, so his narration from him is more reliable than from others, and the two preceding hadiths support it.
