The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah, forgive the pilgrim, and forgive whomever the pilgrim seeks forgiveness for."

Bazzar (9726), Ibn Khuzayma (2516), Hakim (1/441), and Bayhaqi (5/261) all narrated it from the hadith of Sharik, from Mansur, from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it.Hakim said, "Its chain is sahih according to the criterion of Muslim." Ibn Hajar said in Mukhtasar Zawaid Bazzar (735), "Its chain is hasan."I say, it is as he said, for it contains Sharik, who is Sharik bin Abdullah Nakhai, the judge, whose memory changed after he took up the judgeship. So his solitary narrations are not accepted in matters of what is permissible and forbidden, while what falls outside that is to be examined, and this is among the matters that have a firm basis in the general principles of the sacred law.
