She came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Prophet of Allah, will you not tell me about Haritha?" He had been killed at the Battle of Badr, struck by a stray arrow. "If he is in Paradise, I will be patient, but if he is otherwise, I will weep my utmost for him."He replied, "Mother of Haritha, there are many gardens in Paradise, and your son has attained the highest Firdaws."
Bukhari related it in the chapter on jihad (2809) from Muhammad bin Abdullah, who said, "Husayn bin Muhammad Abu Ahmad narrated to us, Shayban narrated to us, from Qatada, Anas bin Malik narrated to us, that Umm Rabi bint Bara came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned the same."Tirmidhi also reported it (3174) through another route from Qatada, in which it says, "Your son has attained the highest Firdaws, and Firdaws is the elevation of Paradise, its middle, and its best part." He said, "This is a hasan sahih gharib hadith from the hadith of Anas."As for his saying, "a stray arrow," it is an arrow that goes astray, whose shooter is unknown.
