The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I was shown Laylat al-Qadr, then I was made to forget it. I saw the false messiah of misguidance, and I saw two men quarreling, so I came between them, but then I was made to forget the two men.As for Laylat al-Qadr, seek it in the last ten nights. As for the false messiah of misguidance, he is a man with a broad forehead, his left eye wiped out, with a wide upper chest stained with blood, as though he were so-and-so the son of Abd al-Uzza, or Abd al-Uzza the son of so-and-so."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إني رأيت ليلة القدر، ثم أنسيتها، ورأيت مسيح الضلالة، ورأيت رجلين يتلاحيان، فحجزت بينهما، فأنسيتهما فأما ليلة القدر فاطلبوها في العشر الأواخر. وأما مسيح الضلالة فرجل أجلى الجبهة، ممسوح العين اليسرى، عريض النحر فيه دماء كأنه فلان بن عبد العزى، أو عبد العزى بن فلان.
Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba narrated it in his "Musnad" - Matalib Aliyah (1115), he said, Abdullah bin Idris told us, from Asim bin Kulayb, from his father, from his maternal uncle Faltan bin Asim, and he related it.Tabarani narrated it in "Kabir" (18/335) through this same route. Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Asim and his father, for both of them are truthful narrators.The hadith was also narrated by Tabarani, Abu Qasim Baghawi, Ibn Sakan, Ibn Shahin, and others, through routes from Asim bin Kulayb, with similar wording.Al-Hafiz mentioned it in "Isabah" (3/209) in the biographical entry of Faltan bin Asim.
