The Prophet ﷺ used to walk barefoot and with sandals, drink standing and sitting, turn to his right and to his left after prayer, and both fast and break his fast while travelling.
كان النبي ﷺ يمشي حافيا وناعلا، ويشرب قائما وقاعدا، ينفتل عن يمينه وعن يساره، ويصوم في السفر ويفطر.
Bazzar reported it in Kashf Astar (993), from Husayn bin Yahya Arzi, who said, Musa bin Ismail narrated to us, who said, Harun bin Musa narrated to us, from Husayn Muallim, from Abdullah bin Burayda, from Imran bin Husayn, and he mentioned it.Bazzar said, "This was narrated by Husayn, from Amr bin Shuayb, from his father, from his grandfather. It was also narrated by Harun, from Husayn, from Ibn Burayda, from Imran. Harun is not problematic, and he added, 'He fasts while traveling and breaks his fast.' We do not know this from Amr bin Shuayb. If we had known it that way, this chain would be better than the other, though the other is the well-known one."I say, rather, there is the discussion to come regarding him.
