The Prophet ﷺ was teaching his companions something concerning their religion when their eyes suddenly turned upward. He asked, "What has drawn your gaze away from me?"They replied, "We were looking at the moon."He said, "How will it be with you when you see Allah plainly?"

Ajurri narrated it in Shariah (609) from Abu Bakr bin Abu Dawud, who said, Hasan bin Yahya bin Kathir Anbari narrated to us, my father Yahya bin Kathir narrated to me, Mutamir bin Sulayman narrated to us, from his father, from Aslam Ajli, from Abu Burda, from Abu Musa Ashari, who said, and he mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Hasan bin Yahya bin Kathir Anbari Masissi, of whom Nasai said, "There is no harm in him." The hadith has also been narrated as a stopped report attributed to Abu Musa Ashari, but the marfu version is more sahih.
